A little about Kevin

Kevin Caldwell was born and raised in the legendary land of South Bend, Indiana, where he perfected the art of Midwestern charm before heading to Indiana University Bloomington. After exploring a handful of majors, he landed on French and Journalism—meaning he can discuss croissants and headlines with equal flair.

After graduation, Kevin embarked on a coast-to-coast adventure, living in both New York and Los Angeles in search of the perfect bagel and the ideal weather. It was in New York that he met his future husband. Following their engagement, the two traded skyscrapers for Southern charm and settled in Atlanta, where they began the surrogacy journey to grow their family.

Kevin and his husband welcomed their first son, Asa, in July 2021, and their second son, Freddy, in February 2023. Fatherhood has been equal parts eye-opening, hilarious, and transformative—a little like stepping into an entirely new universe. What started as casually helping friends navigate the challenges of parenthood soon grew into a passion and ultimately a career.

Today, Kevin blends his lived experience with his natural humor and empathy to coach and consult with new parents. He specializes in supporting LGBTQ families, particularly dads, as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising children. Kevin’s coaching style is practical, playful, and rooted in real life—helping parents feel confident, connected, and supported in the wild adventure of raising kids.

Kevin and his family spend the school year in Atlanta, and summers on Cape Cod in beautiful Provincetown.
